Energy Excelerator Startups Mark Milestones

energyexcellogoTwo startups in the Hawaii-based Energy Excelerator program have signed significant deals, although neither company is based in the Aloha State.

Michigan-based Spider9 has signed a deal with global electronics manfacturing giant Samsung, according to a Pacific Business News report. And California-based Stem, Inc. received additional funding from Constellation Technology Ventures and Total Energy Ventures, PBN notes, for a combined $27 million infusion.

Spider9 is part of the Energy Excelerator’s 2015 cohort, while Stem was part of last year’s group.
