Hawaii Dialogix Telecom (HDT) has teamed up with the Shidler Group at the Davies Pacific Center to launch HiPERFIBER, Hawaii’s first affordable gigabit Internet service. In addition, the Davies Pacific Center is providing 10mbps of complimentary HiPERFIBER Internet to each individual tenant—the first of its kind in Hawaii to offer such an amenity.
HiPERFIBER uses fiber-optic technology to deliver Internet speeds up to 100 times faster than most broadband services. This means faster download and upload speeds, seamless streaming video and a whole new realm of Internet possibilities.
“A lot has been said recently about Hawaii’s lack of Internet speeds—in fact, Hawaii routinely ranks in the lower 25-percentile nationwide. Fast, dynamic and affordable service is what HDT is all about and we are extremely excited to launch HiPERFIBER at the Davies Pacific Center,” says HDT President Jared Grugett. Grugett also said that HDT is in the process of installing HiPERFIBER service in Shidler’s Waterfront Plaza and Pan Am Building properties, as well as additional residential high-rise buildings.
“At The Shidler Group we understand the value of staying connected and that speed is a necessity. In the future, we believe that providing Internet service as part of the standard office lease will become as commonplace as air conditioning and janitorial services. We are proud to be the first to offer this innovative service to our tenants,” says Steven Sullivan, Shidler Group Vice President of Operations.
